Call for abstracts
இலங்கையில் மதுசாரம் மற்றும் புகையிலையை தடுப்பதற்காக 2006 ஆம் ஆண்டு 27ஆம் இலக்க புகையிலை மற்றும் மதுசாரம் மீதான அதிகாரசபை சட்டத்தினால் நிறுவப்பட்ட மதுசாரம் மற்றும் புகையிலை மீதான அதிகாரசபையானது ஒரு முன்னோடி அரச நிறுவனமாகும்.
புகையிலை நோய்தொற்று பரவலுக்கு பொறுப்புக் கூறும் வகையில்,2003 ஆம் ஆண்டு உலக நாடுகளால் விரிவாக்கப்பட்ட உலக சுகாதார ஸ்தாபனத்தின் புகையிலை கட்டுப்பாட்டு கட்டமைப்பு சாசனமே (WHO-FCTC) உலகின் முதலாவது சுகாதார உடன்படிக்கையாகும்.ஆதாரம் சார் புகையிலை கட்டுப்பாட்டு நடவடிக்கைகளை அமுல்படுத்துவதற்கு உலக சுகாதார ஸ்தாபனத்தினால் (WHO-FCTC) சட்டரீதியாக ஏற்படுத்தப்பட்ட உடன்படிக்கைக்கு அமைவாக முதன்முதலாக புகையிலை மற்றும் மதுசாரத்தினால் ஏற்படும் பிரச்சினைகளை தொடர்ச்சியாக இனங்கண்ட நாடுகளில் ஒன்று இலங்கையாகும்.
National Authority on Tobacco & Alcohol organized a press conference today (26.12.2022) to aware the public regarding the importance of the strengthning the tobacco & alcohol related laws to control early initiation of drug use among the youth at the Department of Government Information.
On December 2, 2022, at the Waters Edge Hotel, the second National Symposium on Tobacco & Alcohol (NSTAP - 2022) was successfully held. Prof. Samadhi Rajapaksa, the chairman of NATA, extended a warm greeting to all attendees. Prof. Kamal Perera then gave the keynote address. The presentation was then allowed to begin in the symposium forum
